Biblios
Players: 2-4
Time: 30 – 60 min
Interaction: Competitive
Audience: Casual
Players take the role of medieval monks attempting to amass the greatest library. Biblios is played in two rounds, a drafting round and an auction round. Players draft cards into three places, their own hand, an auction pile that will be up for sale in the next round, or to an opponent’s hand. Then in the auction round players try to buy the cards they need to collect sets. For each category, the largest matching set takes the prize, while the prizes can vary depending on how players play their hand. Biblios is easy to teach and quick to play, with some fun cutthroat aspects underneath its demure, monastic theme.
