Kitchen Rush
Players: 1-4
Time: 30 – 60 min
Interaction: Cooperative
Audience: Casual
In this cooperative real-time worker placement game of running a restaurant, players do their best to welcome guests, take orders, and keep the kitchen running smoothly. They do so by placing sand timers to take actions, but the timers cannot be moved to a new action until the sand is done flowing, which makes proper sequencing and timing a real challenge. The game is played as a short campaign of 10 scenarios that start out easy with simple recipes and only a small handful of actions available, and then gradually increase the complexity and difficulty in each new scenario, until you are responsible for ordering supplies, sending emails, growing herbs, organizing the pantries, instructing staff, and more. Very easy to learn and super quick to play.
