Mariposas has players control multiple generations of Monarch butterflies as they travel north in the spring from Mexico into the US then back south in the fall. The player with the most successful family of Monarchs to make it back to Mexico after three seasons is the winner. Contains beautiful illustrations of wildflowers and life stages of butterflies, as well as poignant info about habitat loss and the highly endangered status of Monarchs.
