Medina
Players: 2-4
Time: 60 – 90 min
Interaction: Competitive
Audience: Casual
Players construct a medina, one building at a time. Each turn, you may place any one piece from your supply into the board, which may be a building, a stable, a merchant, or a wall, with different rules governing where each piece can go. While players are all adding their pieces to a common city, each building may only be claimed by 1 player, and each player may only claim 1 of each building color, so there is a constant tension of trying to increase the values of buildings, without missing out on claiming them before your opponents. A fun mix of push-your-luck and tactical city-building.
