Mini Express is a strategic train game for 1 to 5 players in which players take the role of 19th century industrialists competing for control of four railroad companies. The game is played on a map of the continental US, and as players build out the railroad system across the country their actions influence the rise and fall of those companies. On each turn a player can buy stock in a railroad, or build out its train line to a new city, changing the value of the railroad or their own influence in each line. At the end of the game players then earn points depending on their influence in each railroad and how valuable those railroads have become.
